What manufacturing capabilities does SantoTolling offer?

SantoTolling operates a 66-acre chemical manufacturing facility with over a dozen specialized buildings, 19 reactors, 33 vessels, and 67 tanks. The site supports a broad range of unit operations, including stainless steel reactors (300–12,000 gallons), glass-lined reactors (300–4,000 gallons), distillation columns, spray dryers, a rotary vacuum dryer, a wiped film evaporator, dispersion mixers and grinders, homogenizers, and an anhydrous HCl column.

SantoTolling performs a wide range of complex reaction chemistries, including alkoxylation, alkylation, amidation, polymerization, condensation, esterification, transesterification, hydrogenation, reductive amination, diazotization, chloromethylation, and quaternization with methyl and benzyl chloride. The facility also handles specialized reactions involving epichlorohydrin, boron trifluoride, chlorine, anhydrous ammonia, trimethylamine, and triethanolamine.

SantoTolling runs a 24/7 analytical laboratory staffed by experienced chemists and equipped with instruments for gas chromatography (GC), GC-MS, LC-MS, nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), FTIR/IR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, laser diffraction particle size analysis, potentiometric and wet titration, Karl-Fischer water analysis, and viscosity and surface tension measurement. Every batch is tested to confirm it meets defined quality specifications before release.

SantoTolling's equipment handles pressures up to 500 psig, temperatures from -15°C to 300°C, and vacuum down to 10 mm Hg. This range supports high-pressure reactions, heat-sensitive and high-temperature processing, and vacuum-driven operations such as evaporation and drying.

SantoTolling is ISO 9001:2015 certified and holds ChemStewards certification, EPA registration, and FIFRA registration. The facility also produces Kosher- and Halal-certified products.

Toll manufacturing is an arrangement in which a company provides its facility, equipment, and technical expertise to produce chemistry on behalf of another company. SantoTolling supports toll and custom manufacturing by supplying the infrastructure, analytical capability, and process knowledge to take a project from concept through to commercial-scale production.

You can start a project with SantoTolling by requesting a free consultation through the company's website. The consultation is used to discuss your project scope, chemistry, and manufacturing goals so the team can determine the right approach for scaling your process.
